Forum: faqs Subject: Uploading with UNIX (GNU/Linux) with different browsers

UNIX users are redirected to a non-flash uploading system because otherwise they couldn't upload files bigger than 8 MB; Firefox still can't upload files bigger than 2 GB, hence I'm using Chromium, which doesn't have any problem.

Another nice thing of Chromium is that the sentence «Unfortunately we do not have upload progress feedback while files transfer during this (non-flash) method» is no longer true, because the browser gives you the percentage of completion of the request to the server (i.e. the upload) in the status bar. Perhaps this could be noted in that message, so that people who need this feature know where they can find it.
